If you would like to offer encouragement to others and have photographs of your restoration progress with Tug Ahoy®® appear on this website (without your name) then send them to me via e-mail attachment.  Photos before and after Tug Ahoy®® use would be best, but even just photos after using the TA would be fine.  An accompanying description of your progress, both before the TA and after using it, would also be helpful.

Some nice comments recently received from pleased customers:

July 8, 20003:

"I ordered a Tug Ahoy® approximately a month ago from you and all I can say is WOW. I am so sorry for not ordering it months ago. The design and functioning of the device is pure genius, and it has allowed me to restore for a month straight (currently) since I got it. It really goes on and off with ease, and I so easily forget it's even there. If it does bother me, a simple unnoticed movement of the strut corrects it and I'm on my way. Try that with tape! No way.

June 2, 2003:

Jay from Michigan, who has been using the Tug Ahoy® 8-10 hours a day since about February 15, 2003:  "I also have a noticeable increase in sensitivity when not covered (I use O rings to maintain coverage when not using the TA). I actually have FEELING during intercourse."

May 31, 2003:

"Purchased on a Holiday weekend - shipped on the holiday - received on
Friday. Great device! I am amazed at how simple it is and how easy it is to
place and remove.  I have been considering foreskin restoration for a while
and after much reading and searching online I decided to start the process
with Tug Ahoy®."

May 28, 2003:

"I am extremely happy with your product.  I'm amazed because it's very easy
and time-saving.  Thank you very much."

January 22, 20003:

Dear Jim, I gotta tell you that after months of deliberating on whether to order the tug
Ahoy® from a complete stranger on the web----------I wished that I had ordered sooner:).  The device actually makes tugging somewhat enjoyable and its way more convenient than tape, among many, many more reasons.  In addition, you're a class act (great & informative website), and complete pleasure to do business with.  I recommended your device to others on restoration resources, and in my gallery.  Even though i am only wearing it part time in evenings (easing into this again), i can already see and feel a big difference in the extra skin.  My skin is very tight and it was very tough to get on the first day because the more i fiddled with it over my glans, the harder i would get, and then i would have to let subside before attempting again.-----anyhow, I got the hang of it now, and each time i use it, it  is easier to get on ( a combo of more skin & more skill, i think).  This was my 2002 xmas gift to myself.  Thanks Jim!!

12/27/02:

Just have to let you know I ordered your product after a couple of months of cruising your website over and over.  I was cross taping and using a homemade pill tube tugger.  I really hated the the residue of the tape and the pain it was when I had to urinate as well as the slipping off when I sweat.   I ordered your tug-a-hoy and received it on christmas eve day.  What a great christmas present to myself!  It is easy to put on and take off and I actually can wear it 24/7 without any discomfort.  It also stays on when I work out and I wore it to a christmas party and it stayed on the whole night although I was a little nervous about wearing it.  I would recommend it to anyone who has the desire to restore for it is comfortable and well worth the money for the ease of mind that it stays put, and is not noticeable under your pants.   Thanks again for helping me in my journey to restore!

5/20/02:

I just received the TA today and have been - shocked - at it's ease of use and it's effectiveness. I mowed the lawn today and went for a 2 mile jog with it comfortably on. I honestly can't get the thing to slip off  - and believe me I've really put it to the test in the past 10 hours.

As I told you in my first email, I do have a rather tight cut and was concerned whether I'd even be able to apply your product. The outer cup is basically all the way down to the base of the shaft when applying.... it just barely makes it, but it seems that it doesn't take much for it to get a good grip.  It's almost unbelievable how well it works in using the "rolling" action of the skin to it's advantage. The design is literally bordering on genius. =D

Well, I basically just wanted to contact you this last time to tell you I'm completely pleased with the product that arrived and can't wait to see the results it produces.

I ordered a tugAhoy®® from you on 4/24/02 which you mailed on the 26th.
Let me say that the tugAhoy®® is a wonderful device. In the two weeks I've had it, I've seen an increase in the amount of skin I've been developing. That device blows tape away.

You received my order March 12th 2002. and I received the tugAhoy®® March 14th 2002
I have been very happy with the results in the short time and I'm so grateful I found your product before I ever used tape. By reading other men's accounts taping sounds nightmarish. I've wished I was intact for a long time and I have hope now of some sort of coverage. Be expecting another order from me next week. I would like a back-up one because I can't see not continuing through the full course because it is so convenient and painless.
THANK YOU!

This website was screwed up for 10 days, in spite of five phone calls to Affinity's tech support and repeated promises that it would be working properly pronto.  I was unable to post notices during this time.  So the following two notices were actually uploaded on 12/21.

On 12/13/06, Tug Ahoys® were mailed to GW and JCJ.  Thanks very much for the orders.

On Sunday, 12/3/06, Tug Ahoys® were mailed to JH and JDN, and an inner shell to RMM.  For the moment, my health seems to be stabilizing, and now, for the first time since August 30, I am finally caught up on orders.  An order has been received from DG.  His TA will be mailed approx 12/11/06, after his check has cleared.  Thanks very much for the patience of everyone.  I will do my best to not allow delays to develop in the future.  Thanks a lot for the orders.

On Saturday, 12/2/ 06, a Tug Ahoy® was mailed to JC.  Thanks very much for the order.

Today, Friday, 11/31/06, a TugAhoy® was mailed to BS.  I now have new inner shells sanded, wires inserted, and dipped once in the coating material.  I will be mailing them out in two days, after the last two coats have been applied.  The reason for some delay now has been that I again had a relapse of pancreatitis; it is not as severe as before, and seems to be getting better.  I am back on a very limited diet.  Thanks a lot for the order.

Today, Friday, 11/24/06, Tug Ahoys® were mailed to RA and DST.  Now there are just three pending orders:  RMM (money order for outer shell), BS (BofA personal check for TA), and JDN (non-BofA personal check for TA).  The first two will be mailed in several days, after I make some more inner shells.  The one to JDN will be mailed in two weeks, to allow time for the check to clear.  Thanks very much for the orders.

Although it hasn't cleared up completely, my pancreas problem is gradually getting better.

Today, Tuesday, 11/21/06, I mailed the Bona Constrictor to WC.  Thanks for your patience and order.

Today, Thursday, 11/9/06, Tug Ahoys® were mailed to TRM and PS.  Presently, there are four TA orders which are due to be mailed:  AJ, SMK, BL, and AL, also an outer shell for AZ, and a BC for WC.  All of the pending orders are about half finished, and so should be mailed in 2-3 days, assuming my health holds up.  Thanks again for the patience and orders.

Today, Wednesday, 11/8/06, Tug Ahoys® were mailed to WCB and JCW.  Thanks for your patience and orders.

Today, Tuesday, 11/7/06, Tug Ahoys® were mailed to TR, MJD, and DZ.  I am feeling a little better, and am now able to do a little work.  I hope to mail two TA's tomorrow and the next day.  After six attacks, I'm hoping I've seen the end of acute pancreatitis and that the pseudocysts will eventually heal.  After 18 days, I'm still on the diet in which the only food is digested animal hides and sugar, to avoid stirring up the pancreatitis.  Today is two months and six episodes of acute pancreatitis.  Thanks for your patience and for the orders.

Today is Friday, 11/3/06.  I had another attack of acute pancreatitis on Wed. 11/1; but this one doesn't seem quite as severe as the previous five.  Just posting this notice is very difficult and exhausting.  I'm hoping that I will be able to do some work on TA's and the one BC by tomorrow.  Thanks for your patience and orders.

On Tuesday, 10/31/06, a Tug Ahoy® was mailed to MB.  The last three orders were mailed before some others which came in sooner because I had already made shells of the size for these last three, but not for some that came earlier.  Thanks for the orders.

Today is Monday, 10/30/06.  Now, after five days of this latest (fourth) episode of acute pancreatitis, and spending virtually the whole time in bed asleep, eating only the digested animal hides and sugar, I am not as ill as I was, although far from well.

Today, I mailed Tug Ahoy® orders to MRH, JC, and TS.  I also received new orders from TRM (BofA personal check) and MB (money order)  Thanks very much for your continued patience and for the orders.

What's happened Mon 10/23 to Wed 10/25 is posted below.

As of Wed 10/25/06, I have received the following orders, in this order; all but the first in the past two weeks:  MJD, TR, DZ, JCW, TS, WCB, PS, and JC.  As soon as I am able, probably tomorrow, I will begin work of making and mailing these.

On Monday, 10/23/06, Tug Ahoys® were mailed to JB and BRP.  Thanks a lot for your orders and your patience.
By Friday AM, my pancreatitis had seemed somewhat better.  But later in the day, it became much worse again, with pain with walking and deep breathing, and excruciating pain with coughing or sneezing, and moderate severe tenderness throughout my abdomen.  So I went on the only diet which wouldn't make it worse.  It is made worse by eating protein or fat or starches.  So I went on the only fairly complete diet which won't make it worse:  sugar plus pre-digested proteins (ie, amino acids from pre-digested animal hides. Yuck!).

So over the weekend it got better on that diet.  On Monday, I saw the pancreatic specialist, who told me that small pseudocysts like mine usually will resolve with time, if a strict diet is maintained a (although even he hadn't thought through the fact that the diet I went on is optimal, although he agreed that it is.)

So, with nearly 24hr/day sleep and this diet, I slowly improved until last (Tuesday) evening, it seemed that finally by today, I would be able to devote a good deal of time and energy by this AM (Wednesday 10/25) to making devices.  But this AM, I got a lot worse again because of a (relatively soft) blow to the abdomen; this pushes activated pancreatic juices into the pancreas and pseudocyst, so the juices again begin digesting the pancreas, and greatly increase the pain.  After sleeping seven hours more, I am a little better.  Posting this note has pretty much exhausted me, though.

(Please read the notes below re my illness and the reason for the delays.)

Today, Saturday, 10/21/06, Tug Ahoys® were mailed to CB, as well as GLW (to whom I forgot to include a note that he is receiving a smaller inner shell.  The smallest outer shell is attached to it.)  Thanks very much for the orders.  (Please see notes below re pancreatitis.)

On Friday, 10/20/06, Tug Ahoys® were mailed to MG and KCL.  (Please see notes below re pancreatitis.)  Thanks again for your patience, and thanks a lot for the orders.

Today, Thursday, 10/17, I mailed Tug Ahoys® to AC and MB.  I again apologize for my tardiness, and thank you very much for the orders.

I have found out why my weakness and fatigue persist, in spite of it being 6 weeks since I came down with acute pancreatitis, and it has become somewhat better.  I have a pancreatic pseudocyst.  (For the squeamish: don't read the following.)  A pseudocyst is a cavity which is filled with a fluid, in which the fluid consists of pancreatic enzymes, which are in the process of turning the pancreas and surrounding tissues into liquid.  Normally, all the food we eat is digested by enzymes which are secreted by the pancreas, and become activated in the duodenum.   In acute pancreatitis, these enzymes become activated while they are still in the pancreas, and start to digest it.

I will be seeing a gastroenterologist in a few days and see what the outlook is for the course of the problem and treatment.  At the moment, I feel much better than I did, and will make a commitment to mail at least two Tug Ahoys® daily, and will try to find an employee to help me.  Also, although I have been remiss in the past, I will begin reading new e-mails.  In the meantime, I appreciate your orders and patience.

Today, Thursday, 10/12/06, Tug Ahoys® were mailed to KPS and WO.  Thanks very much for the orders and your patience.

The new Tug Ahoys® are mostly completed, and I will begin mailing some of them tomorrow.  My recovery from my long bout of acute pancreatitis has been slower, and plagued by much lower levels of productivity than I had hoped and expected.  The new TA's are mostly finished.  Thanks again for your patience.

Today, Thursday, 9/28/06, I for the first time able to do some work on making devices.  I have just finished drilling holes in, and sanding the inside and outside of 112 shells, in preparation for making inner shells.  I am afraid I overestimated my speed of recovery.  As I should have known, I have required a lot of sleep and rest in recovering from this serious illness.  I will finish and mail the devices as soon as I can, but it will probably take about 3-4 days.  I again apologize for the delay, and thank you for your patience.

Today is Tuesday, 9/19/06.  Just a quick notice.  After my 11 day absence, I became very ill with acute pancreatitis.  After a week of eating no regular food, I was better, but then relapsed.  I can't stay out of bed and focus attention long enough to make and fill the orders due for shipping.  These are from MJL (I need his size and address), CB, GLW, WC, JB, MG, KCL, BRP (I have his correct address), and AC.  Also still pending from before my absence are orders from CT, KS, and MB.  I'm very sorry for these delays, but making the devices requires a lot more skill and concentration than I have available now.  Probably in two more days I will be able to start making devices.  I also have two likely candidate employees I will be trying out so I have a stock of finished devices, and there won't be any more delays.

Thanks for your patience.

Jim
